I feel privileged to have gone through the long, tedious and frustrating process of applying for a US Patent and actually ending up with one.
Before the turn of the century, I had a simple idea as to why couldn’t a web page have a “back side” just like any other printed page we see in our daily lives. I visualized a website using this technology in which you could flip the web page and read what was “behind” it.
A few dollars and months of development later, the effort turned into US Patent 6,539.406 which we called “BackPage”.
If you feel like reading a lot of boring, dense and technical stuff, you can see the entire document here.
